A Long Journey

The Walk to Remember board of directors would like to thank everyone that participated in the 2008 Walk to Remember, making it a complete success! We have raised funds to start the process of delivering Bereavement Care Packages to hospitals that need them! Unfortunately, we expect the demand to exceed supply. We will be holding multiple events throughout the year to raise funds to ensure we can continue to supply the front range hospitals with packages throughout 2009, so check back often to see what we have going on!

We have created a section of the website to allow people to donate a Bereavement Care Package online. You can visit our Care Package Donation Page if you would like to donate a care package for someone in need.

We wanted to share an email we received from a kind soul up in Mobridge, SD. She let us know that her husband and son found a remembrance card from a balloon released at our event this year near Timber Lake, South Dakota - nearly 600 miles north east of Clement Park. Our event touched this kind soul enough to write in to us - which touched us, so we are sharing this with you.
