2009 Walk to Remember

Greetings!

With the 2009 Walk to Remember behind us, we want to share with you the news from our most recent Walk.

2009 Walk Highlights
While the weather for the 2009 Walk was cold and snowy, over 600 people attended to remember their babies and warm their hearts by participating in this year's Walk.

This year's program was highlighted with songs sung by Jen Jones, Raychel Thomas and Tanya Coon, poems and letters read by loving parents and a dove release. The gray sky was brightened by families and friends releasing a colorful balloon when their baby's name was read in memoriam.

T-Shirt SALE Blowout
Extra 2008 and 2009 t-shirts will soon be available for discounted purchase in the WTR online store. To purchase your additional t-shirts, please visit the Walk to Remember website. This can be a great memory box memento. Limited quantities are available!

Online Auction
The 2009 Online Auction was a huge success! With over 100 bidders bidding on over 100 items, we are proud to say the gross proceeds exceeded $9,000! All proceeds go towards the Bereavement Care Package and Education Programs in front range hospitals.

If you were unable to pickup your auction items at the walk, you can arrange for pickup or shipping (fees apply) of your auction items by emailing amy.lugowski@walktoremember.org.
